| I see your glory on lofty mountain peaks I hear it whispered on the gentle evening breeze Thundering in the crashing ocean waves Resounded on the plains, echoed in the forests All that is good belongs to Him
The whole earth is filled with His glory For those who have eyes to see Every good gift is from above Our world and its beauty are His And He loves us, every one
I see your glory in the faces of your children Eyes bright with joy lifted up to the heavens Love from your throne rains down on the earth Your mercy blossoms, like flowers of the field And all that is good belongs to Him
The whole earth is filled with His glory For those who have eyes to see Every good gift is from above Our world and its beauty are His And He loves us, every one
Every crimson sunset Every newborn's cry Every moment of bliss in love's embrace Every gaze into the eyes of your Son All that is good belongs to Him
The whole earth is filled with His glory For those who have eyes to see Every good gift is from above Our world and its beauty are His And He loves us, every one

| So I'm updating. I wish I had something more interesting to say... I've been done with the first draft for my second book for a few months now and I'm working on my 3rd. My plan is to have them all finished and polished by the end of 2008 and to work on getting them published starting in 2009. (All three are in different genres so the point of having three is to sort of triple my chances of getting published or something....not that it actually works that way...really its just because I have too many stories that need to be told and I can't bear to spend too much time on just one....)
In case anyone was wondering, I plan on staying in Lancaster and not going back to college at all. Hopefully my writing career will take off within the next 5 years or so. I love Calvary Church so much that the only things that would make me leave are marriage or a call to the mission field and I doubt either of those are happening anytime soon...I'm happily and deliberately single for the time being and while I'm sure I'll go into missions eventually, that probably won't happen until after I'm successfully published...I'm quite sure God has directed my life in the way He has in order to accomplish that purpose.
Then again, I've been quite sure before...I'll just wait and see what the adventure of life has in store next....

| Jr Hi and my MPACT group are good. My book is progressing and only 9 & 1/2 chapters away from the end. My soundtrack collection is happy. My new TV that I won from work feels loved.
God is happy and sad, as always.

| I havn't updated in a while.
I often enjoy stating the obvious.
I'm 44 chapters into my book (out of 60), when I'm finished I'm going to write a (comparably) lighthearted and SHORTER children's fantasy novel, and then go back and rewrite each of my three novels in turn. Eventually I'll have three publishable novels in different genres :D
In other news, I'm going to have my own MPACT group this year, led by myself and an apprentice (Steve Czapla). I wasn't expecting this, and I'm rather uncertain about it, but I'm glad God's caused it to work out this way because growth (however awkward or painful) is always good. (btw, MPACT is my church's small group ministry, and I'll be leading a small group of jr high guys).

| I think I've written about 7 or 8 chapters since my last entry. That's 15,000 words or more, in less than two weeks. Compare that to a 5-page research paper being about 1,500 words. That's a lot of writing, especially when it all has to be made up from nothing.
*stops bragging*
I just finished the third installment, which is about halfway through the story...if anyone who's not currently reading it would like to, let me know :)
Pirates of the Caribbean 2 was good, but not great. Just like the last one. The plot was slightly less cohesive, but more interesting because I thought the plot of the last one was completely silly anyway. (that's the whole point...pure escapist entertainment). I didn't like the increased emphasis on gags with Jack Sparrow - the toenail thing was horrible - but I liked the one-liners a lot better as well. "You still think loyalty is the currency of the realm. Unfortunately, currency is now the currency of the realm!"
I'm quite frustrated by the terrible reviews Lady in the Water is getting. Less and less people seem to understand the genius of my favorite film-maker. I say this having not seen the movie yet, but from what I've read, I'll love it. I could be wrong....
